The only benefit I could see is using it as a shock offense for one or two plays just to get the defense confused and out of their rhythm. This should not be an entire system that is used every down. Save your money coaches. No clinics on the A-11 offense are worth it. Get onto their web site and write down the formation and one or two plays out of it so you have something to run in case the defense does not call a timeout. Get the ball out quick because the QB is going to be running for his life like in that video if you don't!

* In the video clip you mention with disdain, Piedmont is in the
Playoffs vs. Las Lomas after finishing with a regular season record of 7 - 3. In that game Las Lomas was the Largest 2A team with 1,580 Coed enrollment, Piedmont just under 900 students Coed. Las Lomas (great program) with massive, well-coached players and loads of talent vs. Piedmont in the Playoffs at Las Lomas, and with 7 minutes to go in the Game, the score was Las Lomas - 35 and Piedmont - 21..., before Piedmont had to take some very risky chances in the last half of the 4th quarter, it did not work out, Las Lomas capitalized like the great team they were in 2007 and got the solid win fair and square. Las Lomas finished with a 13 -1 record and NCS 2A East Bay title, with their only loss to powerhouse Novato - who was the Champion of Northern California 2A, and then played in the State Title Game in Los Angeles.
** In terms of your stating that our Quarterback was running for his life? Nothing could be further from the truth. We threw over 40 times that game and gave up two sacks....and called many Quarterback Draws and Screens.
Coach26, best of luck to you and yours when you come up with an innovative system in football that many coaches are interested in...and I mean that.
Our coaches and players must have done something right in 2007....We are working with many teams nationwide who are thrilled by the creative and wide open options the A-11 gives them, in addition to helping a lot of smaller teams getting a shot a being more competitive vs. their larger foes.
Sincerely,
KB
